Take It To The Streets

Take It To The Streets is a community outreach program founded by Bishop Jonathan Dukes in 1993. Dukes was inspired to create a positive atmosphere for the community which had been riveted with constant themes of other inner cities: drugs, alcohol, and violence. This program hosts an annual three-day event on the third weekend of July which consists of basketball tournaments for all ages, services called Church Without Walls, a back-to-school supplies giveaway, and car show.
